As a lawyer, Marcus Draaisma is a strategist and is known for his practical and goal-oriented approach. In addition to employment law (including specific attention to fraud in the workplace), Marcus deals with disputes within partnerships and cooperatives, including in healthcare.
Marcus is concerned with:
- Assistance and advice in disputes regarding violation of non-competition clauses (and unlawful competition), non-solicitation clauses and confidentiality clauses;
- Evidence gathering and seizure of evidence, for the purpose of investigations into fraud in the workplace and integrity investigations;
- Advising national and international companies;
- Family business advice;
- Advising (members of) partnerships and cooperatives;
- Advising directors and managers;
- Advising the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board.
Marcus has been associated with Palthe Oberman as a founding partner since the firm was founded . He studied at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Exeter (GB) and completed two postgraduate courses: Grotius Insolvency Law (1996) and Grotius Employment Law (2005).
Marcus regularly publishes in various media and gives lectures and courses in the field of employment law, fraud and evidence seizure. The blog “Fraud scammed” by him and his office colleague Lydia Milders is published every month.
